DiceRTE is a development and runtime system for 32bit DOS extended applications.
The program archive contains a complete set of development tools to develop
fast and powerful 32bit applications running on all Windows, DOS and OS/2 operating system versions.
The system consists of the following components:
DCC32 ( C compiler ) |
ANSI C compatibility
generates object modules or assembly language source files (DASM32-
and TASM® compatible) for the flat memory model
integrated preprocessor and code generator
different calling conventions
|
DASM32 ( macro assembler ) |
instruction set up to Pentium III and AMDs K6-2 (incl. coprocessor, MMX, SSE and 3DNow!)
flat memory model with simplified segment directives
macros and conditional assembly
|
DLINK32 ( Linker ) |
creates DiceRTE or Win32 applications and dynamic link libraries (DLLs)
|
DLIB ( library manager ) |
creates and manages program libraries consisting of object modules
|
DDUMP ( Dumper ) |
structured output of program files, libraries and object modules
|
DIMPLIB ( import library utility ) |
creates import libraries from existing DLLs to gain access to DLL functions from own applications
|
BIND2EXE ( EXE binder ) |
converts Win32 applications into the DiceRTE format
|
DPE ( 32bit DOS extender ) |
DPMI 0.9 interface
optimized for maximum performance and stability
compatible to all currently existing memory managers (i.e. HIMEM.SYS, EMM386.EXE etc.)
|
The development system also features a complete C runtime library (static and dynamic) and an
API to call DOS and BIOS interrupt functions.
To use the development package, your system must meet (or exceed) the following requirements:
